The Best of 2016 Wedding Photography

Daniel Murrientes Photography – The Best of 2016 Wedding Photography

So here it is, the Best of 2016 Wedding Photography by me. In this collection, you will find some of my favourite images from the past year. It was an incredible year for me and my brides and grooms. I had so much fun working with them and making new friends along the way. It really is a blessing to be able to create these images for my couples and I honestly couldn’t think of anything better. Below I have written a little snippet about each image and a link to the blog post if there is one. Let me know in the comments section at the bottom of the page what you think of The Best of 2016 Wedding Photography.

Image above taken at Paris Hotel, Las Vegas for Gary & Elaine’s wedding in September 2016. Two very special friends of mine and an absolutely honour to be able to capture their wedding.

Image above taken of Mike and Amy at their Abbeywood Estate Wedding. An incredible day with at truly relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.

My favourite bouquet of the year from Rannoch & Mellissa’s wedding at Thornton Manor.

Image above taken from Imogen & Stephen’s Mitton Hall wedding. A stunning venue with perfect light, especially during Autumn and Winter.

Image above taken in the wine cellar at Peckforton Castle. Get the light balance right and it is perfect for dark and moody portraiture.

Natalie getting ready for her wedding at Broadoaks Country House

This was taken at sunset, just before the first dance at Mark & Eloise’s wedding at The White Hart. A really fun wedding with the awesome DJ Andy Murphy to top it off.

This is one of my most favourite photos ever taken, the misty lake, the clouds and a beautiful couple to round it off. Lake Windermere during spring.

Emma & Des’ wedding at Hyde Bank Farm was a great location, tucked away, with an authentic farm to photograph. A really lovely couple, I had a lot of fun shooting this.

Melina & Ed’s pre-wedding shoot at Beacon Fell. This is the reason I use this location for my pre-wedding shoots. Stunning countryside and lovely warm colours to accentuate my style.

Hayley & Chris’ wedding at The Mere. A lovely couple and the way they look at each other is like this all the time… when they are getting married anyway.

The beautiful Lizzie getting ready for her wedding at Rowton Hall. A stunning venue!

I went over to Yorkshire a couple of times this year, this was taken at Sarah & Ben’s wedding at Cannon Hall Museum.

Sarah & Ali at their Peckforton Castle wedding. One of the best venues in the United Kingdom.

Natalie & Mike on the side of Lake Windermere.

Rannoch & Mellissa at Thornton Mannor.

I love edison light bulbs such as these. A nice touch for Jen & Mike’s wedding at Great John Street Hotel.

This blog post is definitely worth a look. A lovely couple and an amazing venue. Amanda & Noel at their Inn at Whitewell wedding.

This was taken very close to where I live. I love shooting weddings at home and St Annes proved to be a great location for Laura & Tom.

Pink dress and pink wellies to go with it! Emma rocked her dress at her and Paul’s wedding at Dale Lodge in the Lake District.

Imogen and Stephen demonstrating a perfect ‘bend’ in the low light. Taken at the stunning Mitton Hall wedding venue.

My last wedding of 2016. Taken at Stanley House in Mellor.

Rob & Lizzie at Rowton Hall wedding venue.

An inquisitive young man checks out the camera. Taken at the Inn at Whitewell.

It’s all part of the big picture!

Leanne getting ready for her wedding at Eaves Hall.

Gary & Elaine taking compliments from bystanders as they cross the strip in Las Vegas.

A very down to earth, light hearted couple who were so much fun at their wedding at Eaves Hall.

Charlotte and Dan during their first dance at Thornton Manor.

The ‘money shot’ outside Eaves Hall wedding venue in Clitheroe.

This was taken at a secret elopement under the nose of the Spirit of the Sky. No blog post for this one but very fond memories and a completely unique wedding.

Mother and daughter when they saw each other for the first time after Jen got in her dress.

Natalie and Andrew in the grounds of Mere Court wedding venue in Knutsford.

There so many funny faces from my first dance shots in 2016 but this is my favourite. He’s an actor by the way, you’d never guess.

Even with the most playful and not massively lovely dovey couples, there is always a golden moment where you can see the real connection.

I always like to capture the reactions of people during the speeches, especially during the best man’s speech. It’s guaranteed to get the laughs, on this occasion, it got them all.

Perfect sunlight during the winter months.

‘I’ll run after you whilst you get driven off on the golf buggy’.
