Dale Lodge Hotel Wedding Photography
I love any trip to The Lake District, especially if it’s for Dale Lodge Hotel Wedding Photography. Today was no exception, despite the weather being typically British, it rained at convenient times and left us nice and dry for the most of it. When I arrived, Emma was getting ready with Daisy (their daughter) and the rest of the bridal party. Emma presented Daisy with a necklace that she had bought especially and Daisy looked made up. Then we were off to Holy Trinity Church for the ceremony.
The church was on the top of a hill, a splendid, remote location, great for an intimate wedding like this. After the ceremony, we arranged the confetti throw and headed off to do the bride and groom photos in a field, you’ll see below! This was pretty cool because Emma loves sheep and the field was full of them. I’m not sure how Paul feels about sheep but he seemed happy to be there anyway. When we finished the portraits, we headed back to the Dale Lodge Hotel and went straight into group photos and then the wedding breakfast.
The speeches followed the wedding breakfast. Emma and Paul had gotten gifts for a few of the guests that had played a big part in the day, including Daisy who looked very happy to be receiving her second gift of the day. The bride and groom had both gotten Ladybird ‘How it works’ books for each other entitled ‘The Wife/Husband’. Great minds think alike. After the speeches, there was a some more drinks and mingling inside and outside the hotel. The weather had really cleared up and the wedding party soaked up the last of the sun while the DJ setup for the reception.
A big congratulations to Emma & Paul for tying the knot and thanks to all the staff and vendors that helped bring the day together. If you are looking for Dale Lodge Hotel Wedding Photography prices, please enquire to check my availability and prices.
