Eaves Hall Wedding Photography
I absolutely love Eaves Hall Wedding Photography, the venue is one of my favourites and has been for a number of years. I’ve always found that the warm tones and vibrancy at Eaves Hall work incredibly well with my style of photography, so when Leanne and Glynn asked me to shoot their wedding there, I jumped at the chance.
The day started with bridal preps at the lodge, located at the bottom of the drive. Leanne and the girls were getting their hair and makeup done by Flossy & Leigh, one of the North West’s leading wedding makeup specialists. I took the opportunity to have a quick look around the grounds and get some photographs of the beautiful Clitheroe nature that sets the scene for the day.
When the bridal party were ready, they made their way up to the main house, by car. I met them up there and we headed up to the bridal suite so Leanne could get her final preps done before getting into her dress. The sun was beating through the windows which lit up the whole room and the dress looked stunning, hung up on the wardrobe.
After Leanne had got into her dress, I went back in to the room, shortly followed by the other girls who had been down at the lodge getting their makeup done. We were all in awe of how stunning Leanne looked in her dress as her Mum and Sister helped her with the final preparations. Shortly after that, it was time for the ceremony and Leanne made her way down the grand staircase.
I joined Glynn and the best men, all four of them, to wait for Leanne’s arrival. As she came down the aisle, the room lit up and Glynn looked completely amazing. You can see from the photographs below that the looks between them and cheeky smiles were in abundance throughout the ceremony. The room is simply stunning which is why I love Eaves Hall Wedding Photography.
After the ceremony, the champagne reception was shortly followed by the confetti throw. This is something that I always like to organise properly so that they have a long path to walk down and a lot of confetti in the air – this produces the best phtographs and they both looked incredible. We then took a short walk through the grounds to get some photographs with just the two of them, this only took 20 mins as their pre-wedding shoot had paid off and we were able to get lots of fantastic photographs in a short period of time.
Next was the wedding breakfast followed the speeches. The speeches were brilliantly composed, especially the best men, all four of them. They had a projector setup with a multiple choice quiz about Glynn and how he had reacted in various incidents, hilarious. One saying will stay with me, ‘You don’t mess with Glynn’, something he chose to reinact by getting up on the chair and chant. I could hardly hold the camera from laughing.
After the speeches, there was a break whilst they turned around the room for the first dance. In this time, there was a bagpipe player outside who then walked Leanne and Glynn onto the dance floor later on.
What a fantastic wedding and a lovely example of Eaves Hall Wedding Photography. A huge thanks to everyone who was involced in the day, especially the staff at Eaves Hall and Ben the videographer, who worked tirelessly with me all day. I wish all the best to Leanne and Glynn in the future and I enocourage you all to leaves comments and share this lovely wedding so that everyone can see how fantastic it was.
