Mitton Hall Wedding Photography
What a stunning day for Mitton Hall Wedding Photography. This venue is absolutely fantastic, owned and operated by Jame’s Places and located in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, Mitton Hall is quite simply one of the UK’s best wedding venues.
When I arrived, Imogen and the girls were getting ready upstairs whilst the guys did their thing downstairs. It’s always nice to be able to catch both bridal and groom preps but that is only possible in certain venues such as Mitton Hall. On the lead up to the ceremony, Imogen’s Dad came in to the suite to say hello and it was obvious how moved by how stunning she looked. After everyone was ushered into the ceremony room, it was time for the bride to make her entrance.
The ceremony was shortly followed by a blessing which was conducted by a family relative, this took us into the drinks reception in the garden of which you could not ask for a nicer setting. After everyone had a drink I asked everyone to head onto the lawn for groups shots which took us nicely into the bride and groom portraits. The sun was in the perfect place for a nice, Autumn feel to the light. I really love Autumn and my style of photography always works really well with the warm colours of the leaves. Most of the time, I do the portraits outside the venue but with Mitton Hall Wedding Photography being so amazing inside, we decided to do a few shots around the stairs and the fireplace.
The wedding breakfast followed the speeches which were really superb. Hats off to the best man as well, he really did have the whole room in hysterics with his humorous but moving speech. After the wedding breakfast, there was some time for everyone to have a few drinks and get ready for the evening reception. I also had the opportunity to nip outside the venue and get another portrait with Imogen & Stephen before the evening guests arrived.
The first dance was perfect and it was really obvious to see the bond between the bride and groom as they danced together. The other guests joined them on the dance floor and carried on the partying up to and beyond my departure from this fantastic wedding.
I really want to wish all the best to Imogen & Stephen for being fantastic hosts and so easy to get on with. They indulged every idea that I had and I think the benefits are certainly clear. Thanks to all the staff and vendors who helped bring the day together.
