Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography
Today was the third wedding I had done in a row and what an incredible day it was for Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography. When I arrived at the lodge, Sarah was getting ready with the girls and Ali was on his way to the castle. The weather was fantastic for most of the day, apart from the occasional downpour which meant we had to do a most of the photos indoors which is not a problem at Peckforton Castle.
I was working with my second shooter, Neil and videographer, James Wrea for this wedding. Neil was up at the castle while James was with me at the lodge. When the girls were ready, we headed up to the castle for the ceremony. There ceremony room at Peckforton Castle is brilliant. The light from the huge windows looked amazing on Sarah’s dress. After the ceremony, we moved into the drinks reception which we followed with a group photos and the bride and groom portraits.
I had a good idea where I wanted to do the photos as I had a little scout around in the morning. One of the things that I love about Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography is that the colours and tones are so consistent throughout the castle. This really reflects in my style of photography with my emphasis on warm tones and moody lighting, as you will see from the photos below.
The speeches were first and were immediately followed by the wedding breakfast. Neil and I took the opportunity to backup our photos and recharge our batteries (metaphorically) before we headed back out for the first dance. Half way through the first dance, the wedding party joined them on the dance floor and everyone was still partying hard when we left.
A huge congratulations to Sarah & Ali on their wedding and a big thanks to all the vendors and venue staff that helped bring the day together, especially Sasha from Sass Flower. If you are looking for Peckforton Castle Wedding Photography, please get in touch to check availability and prices.
