Rowton Hall Wedding Photography
This post focusses on Rowton Hall Wedding Photography at Rob & Lizzie’s wedding in July 2016. The first stop was Rob & Lizzie’s new house where the guys were getting ready and drinking a few beers before they left for the church. After Robbie had gone through his plans for the day, he gave out gifts to the groomsmen. These were miniature bottles of their favourite tipples. After that, they headed off to the church whilst Neil (my second shooter) and myself headed over to meet the bridal party at Lizzie’s parents house.
Lizzie was getting ready with her family and looked absolutely incredible in her dress. We took the opportunity to get a couple of portraits by the window before leaving for the church. I always like to get to the church 10 mins early so I can speak to the vicar before the bride arrives. When Lizzie arrives, she was nervous but excited as she made her way up to the church and then down the aisle to meet her groom. The ceremony was lovely and was followed by a really long confetti throw. This is also one of my favourite shots of the day and I’m very particular about getting the line how it needs to be to look amazing in the photos.
We arrived at Rowton Hall for the drinks reception and I worked my way through the crowd, getting as many photos of guests chatting and laughing as I could before heading down to the lawn for group shots. This was immediately followed by the bride and groom portraits which led straight into the wedding breakfast. The speeches were next and I can honestly say they were pretty hilarious. I generally try to keep a fairly low profile at weddings however every now and then, usually during the best man’s speech, something will make me burst out laughing.
After the speeches, the room was cleared for the evening reception and The Storm Band began to setup for their first set. I had spotted an interesting room with a big fireplace and took advantage of this photo opportunity with the newlyweds whilst the guests went to the bar. It wasn’t long before the band were setup and guests were flooding in for the first dance. Rob & Lizzie’s killed it on the dance floor and about half way through, the entire wedding party joined them. The dance floor was packed out and I have no doubt it stayed like that all night.
A huge congratulations to Rob & Lizzie on their marriage and a big thanks to all the vendors and staff that helped bring the day together. If you are interested in Rowton Hall Wedding Photography, please use my contact form to check prices and availability.
