Villa Wrea Green Wedding Photography
Today, the Villa Wrea Green Wedding Photography was fantastic as always however this wedding really gave it warm feel with the winters colours chosen by Stacey and Chris. I especially liked the pinecones in the bouquet which really brought out the rich browns undertones throughout the day.
The day started at Stacey’s house where the bridal party were getting ready. There were guests that had flown in from France and Spain to be at the wedding and as more guests arrived, the wedding spirit began to spread. There something really nice about being in someones house over Christmas, especially when there is a wedding on that day. I took the opportunity to admire the Christmas tree and decorations. Time flew by and before I knew it, Stacey was getting into her dress and it was time for me to leave for the Church.
Chris was already there with a very excitable Noah (their son) who, to be quite honest, stole the show at this wedding. He was entertaining guests and making people laugh throughout the day, especially during the ceremony when he decided to explore the church and test the floor strength of the raised area near the alter. He certainly kept me laughing throughout and it was nice that the Vicar was fairly relaxed about young Noah’s antics.
After the ceremony, we stepped outside for a moment before quickly realising it was far too windy to stay there. I quickly organised the confetti throw and we piled back into our cars to head for the Villa at Wrea Green. When we got there, I took the opportunity to get a few photos with Stacey and Chris before they heading inside to be formally welcomed into the drinks reception. I lost myself amongst the guests to capture my signature documentary images whilst the wedding party mingled and chatted with each other on the lead up to the wedding breakfast.
I went into the dining room to capture the fantastic decorations and arrangements the staff at the Villa Wrea Green Weddings had organised. It was perfect for wedding photography with lots of natural colours and tones. The room was large with plenty of scope for expressing dimension through depth of focus which is something I make consistent through my wedding collections. I really love to isolate people in focus and create soft, blurry background, it looks fantastic.
The speeches were some of the funniest I’ve ever heard. In particular, the best man’s speech was hilarious with some side splitting stories from his time knowing Stacey and Chris. My favourite would be the time that they invited him to a party and told him it was fancy dress. He turned up as Teen Wolf and quickly realised he’d been fooled. It reminded me of that episode of Only Fools And Horses where they dressed as Batman and Robin.
The First Dance was fantastic with everyone joining in and dancing around, especially Noah. The band were really good and the keyboard player had even been playing in the bar earlier in the day so it was an incredible effort from him and all of the staff at Villa Wrea Green Weddings. All the best to Stacey and Chris in the future. Villa Wrea Green Wedding Photography by Daniel Murrientes.
