Chester Zoo Wedding Photography
This summer, I was given the chance to capture one of the last opportunities for Chester Zoo Wedding Photography. They have since announced that the Zoo will no longer be running weddings, which is a shame but perhaps makes this wedding a little more special.
The day started with Bridal Preps in a central Chester Hotel whilst Neil was with James. It was soon time to leave for the ceremony, Jade looked stunning as always and the emotion was evident throughout the ceremony, from both Jade and James. They were smiling all day. After the portraits, it was time for afternoon tea and the speeches, which were fantastic – both emotional and funny, especially from the Best Man’s side. The day was perfect for Chester Zoo Wedding Photography, the sun was shining, it was warm all day and we even had the most perfect sunset during the after hours Zoo tour, which took place after the Zoo had closed and the all the wedding guests attended. The tour was an hour long and it was amazing to see the animals without the zoo being packed out, as it usually is. We also has private tour guides who were specialists and had a huge amount of knowledge of the animals, loads of respect for those guys. The tour was followed by the First Dance and partying into the early hours!
Jade and James were the perfect hosts for this wedding and it was one of the most unique opportunities I’ve ever had as a wedding photographer. I’d like to give them a big thanks from myself and Neil, my second shooter as well as all the staff at the Zoo for helping this Chester Zoo Wedding Photography collection come together. All the best to Jade and James in the future and thanks for choosing me to capture your day!
