Mere Court Wedding Photography
I really enjoy Mere Court Wedding Photography, the venue really does have everything you could ask for and this wedding really made the most of it.
When I first arrived, Natalie, the bride was getting her makeup done in the conservatory by Jennifer Downs. After introducing myself to the hair and makeup team and of course, the father and mother of the bride, I made my way upstairs to take pictures of the wedding dress hanging in the window. The wedding shoes were stunning and as I made my way back downstairs, the flowers were just arriving. Natalie was having her makeup done and the father of the bride was opening champagne for the rest of the bridal party.
Later on, I went upstairs to photograph Natalie’s mum, buttoning her wedding dress and having the final preparation made. Then it was off to church to meet the groom, Andrew and wait for Natalie’s grand arrival. As Nat arrived, we waited at the front of the church for the bride to come down the aisle, Natalie was crying by time she got to Andrew which the best man had anticipated as he had a tissue waiting, in hand. The photos below show the father giving away the bride and a glance between Andrew and Natalie as they completed the ceremony, I love the first kiss photo as you can see the reaction of all the people around.
Outside the church, everybody congregated, recovered and laughed. I captured the moods of the guests and relatives laughing for a few minutes before heading off to Mere Court Hotel for their wedding photography photographs.
I took Natalie and Andrew for a short walk around the grounds of Mere Court so we could get some newlywed shots of them both, including one by the side of lake in which you can see the reflection of the bride and groom. This is one of the reasons I love Mere Court Wedding Photography, the possibilities are endless and there are plenty of award winning photographs to be made.
The speeches were fantastic and hilarious. You will see from the photographs below (groom laughing at the best man’s speech) that he had the whole room in hysterics from start to finish. The father of the bride also delivered a brilliant and hilarious speech and everyone was in a great mood by the time the evening guests started to arrive. The first dance at Mere Court was lovely. I especially like the photo of the bride’s parents dancing with the newlyweds in the background.
What a fantastic wedding from start to finish and such a pleasure to be shooting Mere Court Wedding Photography with Andrew & Natalie. A huge thanks to everyone that was involved in the day including all the staff at Mere Court Hotel. All the best to Andrew & Natalie and I can’t wait to start designing your wedding album.
